To curse at nations

In aircrafts doomed

Twin towers are toppling

The world can see it from their TV stations

The ghostly beauty of Manhattan

In clouds of dust and smoke

Covered in a death blanket

As a day like this belongs to Satan

Those people imposing hatred

Can hear the screaming of New York

And the pain of each tragedy

They can see the pavements are blood red

As the fire fighters held their line

The vulnerable were slaughtered

From suicide maniacs dreams of paradise

On September the 11th without a sign

For the leaders their drum would beat

Yet still the air, it smelt charred

Of the burning dead

As the skyline lost it's concrete

It was hard to believe what we are seeing

For it robbed so many lives

Someday America will rise again

But the world will never forget their pain
